Movie Review: National Treasure (2004 Film)

National Treasure: Now available on DVD and Blue-Ray

Its time once again! Where we bring another great Jerry Bruckheimer hit that has captured the hearts of many fans worldwide, that being the first National Treasure.

Produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films, National Treasure is an American history action adventure film that makes history come alive and make you want to watch it again and again.

Starring Nicolas Cage and, National Treasure tells a story about the Gates family quest to find the great Templar Treasure, and Ben Gates (Played by Nicolas Cage) quest to end the search for it with him. When his grandfather (Played by Christopher Plummer.) tells him the story, and gives him a clue, he decides to finally find the treasure and restore his family’s name. Joining him on his adventure is Riley (Played by Justin Bartha) and Dr. Abigail Chase (Played by Diane Kruger)

Let’s dive into this adventure. The story has a pretty well done way of being told, and the using of American History tying it into there film was nicely done. The cast is also nicely done, starring Nicolas Cage, Justin Bartha, Jon Voight, and Lord of the Rings actor Sean Bean.

The special effects how briefly they might be are also well done, along with good action sequences and peril.

The rating I would give this movie is about four and a half out of five stars. It had a good story, well done cast, good visual effects, and nicely done action sequences.

Thank you once again Mr. Bruckheimer, another great adventure film that I can enjoy for years to come.
